Joanne Dereta is a Founder, and Senior Principal of CI Private Wealth. Joanne has been managing Wealth for Canadian Millionaires for over 35 years.

Miss Dereta's specialty is quarterbacking comprehensive Wealth Management for her exclusive group of successful individuals and families, preferably through generations. For nearly 35 years, she has advised Business Owners, Lawyers and other Professionals, Retirees and their families in planning, managing and preserving their Wealth. She is very effective at personally guiding her Clients toward a Financial Life in Order, a process she designed to take her clients from chaos to confidence. In 2003, Miss Dereta established Jo's Snowflake Fund, a Charitable Trust through the Toronto Foundation, designed to provide Comfort Packs to children who find themselves in Toronto homeless shelters through no fault of their own. This gifting is done through the valuable involvement of Brands for Canada (formerly Windfall Clothing Service). Miss Dereta has historically supported UNICEF, Toronto's St Michael's Hospital, Share Plan, and The Stop. More recently, her Charitable focus is on helping educate and elevate disadvantaged youth through Pathways to Education and Horizons for Youth. On a personal note, she is a longtime world traveller, enjoys wine and dining, prefers an urban lifestyle and likes little dogs. She lives with her husband in mid-town Toronto.
